Tiffany Smith needs your help!

Hi Sisters,

If anyone is free today or tomorrow to help out Tiffany Smith, she could use some help getting her house packed up. She's recently had a C Section, so we don't want to let her do too much lifting! Here's what she's requested:

I could use help packing all weekend, but mostly on Monday morning after 8am. On Tuesday I could use help cleaning the house after 9am. I'll be packing all day Monday, or until I finish and I'll be cleaning Tuesday for at least 3 hours or until I get that finished.

Any help, any number of women, would be very appreciated by me! On Monday, if I'm still packing at noon, I plan to order pizza, so I'll feed anyone who is there.

Thanks,
Tiffany Smith

Feel free to contact me as well if you have any questions!! Thanks so much, Shaunell 766-2283

Who Wants a Play Kitchen?

It’s a little dirty, and the electronics don’t work in it anymore… but it would be fun for any little girl.  Maddie just never played with it much, and she really never plays with it now.. :)  Free for the first person to email me at sarah@kimmelhome.net

Looking for a Bed

Do any of you fine ladies know of anyone needing to get rid of a bed. Twin size or bigger. Our daughter moved back in with us but now we don't have a bed for her. She is sleeping on a couch for now but even I couldn't do that for long. Thanks, Laura 1-660-7075

Saturday Evening Gathering

Mauri Brewer and I are going to have a little gathering  this Saturday night. We thought it would be fun to get together and finish last minute Christmas crafts or projects, wrap presents, and just hang out!

If  you want to come...

Saturday December 19th
6:30pm- 10:30pm (you can come and go as you please)
Brittney Miskin's home
Bring anything you need to work on before Christmas, or just bring yourself!
Also, bring a treat or snack to share, the best part about hanging out is the food anyway, right?

Hope to see some of you there!

Does anyone need a crib?

Hi ladies,

Lauralee Ireland just let me know that they have a crib that they will no longer be using and wanted to know if anyone in the ward could use it. She said it is about 12-years-old, but is still in very good shape. It is a good sturdy wood and the color is natural. She asked that it be given to someone who has a genuine need for it. They were originally going to try and sell it on KSL but wanted to go this route first. If it is something you need and would use, please let her or I know.

Printer

We recently purchased a new printer and no longer need our old one. It is a HP 1210 printer-scanner-copier. It works decently well, with a few hiccups here and there. The scanner doesn't always work, but I think it is because we didn't have the right drivers installed. Also, it  gets jammed every once and a while when it is printing, but it is easy and quick to fix! It does need a new ink cartridge too. Anyway, before we DI it or throw it away I thought I would see if anyone needs one! Please leave a comment or e-mail me if you would like to have it!

Christmas Tree?

[update] Thanks, ladies, we got what we needed!

Hey ladies,

Does anyone have an artificial tree they aren't using this year? Like maybe you are getting a real tree and so you aren't planning on using the fake one you have in storage? Or maybe you just have an extra tree?

My hubby and I weren't going to do a Christmas tree this year because we're going to Georgia, but then decided it would be lame not to. However, we don't want to buy a real one again and we'd rather wait until after Christmas to buy an artificial tree for next year. So we were hoping someone out there has a fake one we could borrow. (one that is between 7 to 8 ft tall).

If you do I'll make you an apple pie as a thank you!

New Moon Movie Ticket

I have a ticket to go with the ward ladies to New Moon Friday night. It starts at 10 p.m. And now I'm looking to sell it because my hubby wants to do something together. Couldn't he have picked another night to do date night? I'm totally sad about missing the group funness. But if you're interested in going to the movie, let me know. 801.341.5106

We Made It

I just wanted to send a little post to let you all know that we made it to VA! We had a four day drive to get here and decided to listen to Fire of the Covenant, What an Amazing story to listen to while "driving" across the US! My/Our bad attitude was quickly changed when we realized the comforts we had compared to the Pioneers! I am still unpacking a few things, but for the most part we are pretty settled!

Thank you all for your help and support, most of all your friendships, while we lived in the ward and during my packing! I will always have a special place in my heart for all of you!

Love,
Heather Chandler

CORRECTION ON GATEWAY MUSEUM!

So I'm sure everyone realized that this Wednesday is the 4th and not the 3rd (does anyone know if you continue to lose brain cells with each child?). :) I just wanted to clarify and say that we are still going this Wednesday the 4th. There are buy one get one free coupons in the Happenings book (thanks Britney) and Stacy Burrup just told me that she has 4 buy one get one free coupons to give away as well. She said they were in her Sunday paper. Please call me or write ASAP if you would like to go. It really is a lot of fun and a great way to help the kids get out and burn some energy! :)

GATEWAY DISCOVERY MUSEUM OUTING NEXT WEDNESDAY!! EVERYONE IS INVITED!

A bunch of us have been talking about taking the kids up to the Gateway Discovery Museum in Salt Lake and we have planned to go next Wednesday the 3rd. It's an awesome place to take the kids--especially if you're already getting cabin fever!

The cost is $8 a person or you can buy family passes--check out the rates on their website. I'm not sure what the age limit is on cost. A little pricey, but I think it's worth it to do once in a while. If anyone finds out a way to get a discount, let us know.

We are planning to leave here at 10:00 a.m.. Everyone is welcome to meet at my house and we can carpool, or you can meet us up there around 11:00.

Please let me know if you are planning to come and if you would like to meet at my houseo r meet up there. Hope to see you there!!

Chelsi Wood had her baby boy Henson this month. Both are doing well!!
Shelley Grose had her baby boy Logan this month as well. She and the baby are doing super.
Ashley Lisonbee was scheduled for this week and I'll post an update on her soon.

Congratulations ladies!!

Lost blankie!!

I believe that I brought Dare's blankie to the ward activity last night, but I couldn't find it when he went to bed. I think that I must have lost it at the activity. It's really important to Dare that I find it. If anyone has seen it, please let me know (wood_ail@yahoo.com). I don't think our backup blankie is going to work much longer.
Thanks.

Halloween Costumue Swap...Anyone??

I think I remember that some of you ladies swapped Halloween costumes for the kids last year and I am interested to see if anyone wants to do it this year. For all you new moms, I have a 0-3 month giraffe costume from the Gap (adorable!!) that Mckay wore last year. Anyone is welcome to use it. I'm looking for an elephant costume for Mckay this year (apparently I like jungle animals). I remember seeing one a few years ago where the trunk comes out below the chin--it was adorable! I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask to see if anyone has that one or any other cute customes 12-18 months. I'm looking online as well. As usual, let me know!!

Free Days At Tracy Aviary in SLC

Amery's preschool group went last week and I saw that this aviary is open for free Oct. 1-4. It's like a zoo with only birds and didn't feel too big to handle with a 5 year old, 3 year old and 1 year old. The aviary is in Liberty Park where there is also a fun-looking playground. Just thought I'd pass the info on. Their website is www.tracyaviary.org.

Free Dental Cleanings

I just wanted to let everyone know (who doesn't ) about what I thought was a wonderful little blessing--especially during these harder economic times we are all dealing with. If you are oh so lucky, like us, and don't have dental insurance (that's affordable at least), and if you scour the mail for coupons for discounted dental cleanings, like me, then this little bit of info might make you happy. The Utah Dental Hygiene Clinic does FREE cleanings, done by students, checked by a REAL dentist. (There is a $5 sterilization fee).
The Perks: I got free sealants on all my molars, a flouride varnish, and a VERY thorough cleaning, as well as a ton of x-rays, and a cancer screening check. They just saw both of my girls, ages 6 and 3, and were great with them. They both got flouride treatments with their cleanings too. They'll do free sealants on any permanent molars they have too.
The Cons: For adults, it's a LONG visit (mine was 3 1/2 hours). There is also a preliminary visit, to coordinate you with a student who's appropriate.(??) The time is because they do so much stuff, that regular offices skip because of time constraints.
When I made my appt., they told me I couldn't come in until Feb., but that they'd call if anything opened up. We got called the next week, and we were all seen within a month. They also told me that the students can't see anyone under the age of 5, but that is not the case. In fact they need to see children of all ages so they can pass it off. If they won't let you schedule your kids, ask your hygenist if they can see them. (That's how I found out).  Again, you are checked by a real dentist, who will let you know if there is anything you should be aware of.
I was very happy with all of our visits. So if you have the time, it's worth it!
The number is 801-426-0774--and tell them you want to see the students. There is a Dental Clinic with regular dentists, who you can see as well. They offer heavily discounted services, beyond cleanings. They are in Orem, on the west side of the freeway, off the Univ. Parkway exit.
Thanks!

Lehi Mascot Bowl Tonight!! Fun Family Activity

I heard about this Mascot Bowl on the radio and checked it out at the webiste http://www.mascotbowl.com/site/page. It's a fundraiser event where mascots throughout the state (including the Jazz Bear) and other professional sports teams are playing a football game with a little league team. It is tonight at 5:30 at Lehi High School. Looks like a lot of fun and it's $3 per person for ages 2 and up. This is the activity portion of our FHE tonight. :) We are meeting my brother and his family there, but if anyone else wants to go with us, let me know and we can go together. There are only so many more fun outdoor activities left to do girls. Check out the website!! I've never been before so if it's not fun, don't blame me. :)

Gateway Discovery Museum

Now that Mckay is a little older, I've been wanting to take him to the Gateway Discovery Museum. I think it would be fun if a group of us took the kiddos one day. It is usually $8 a person (I'm not sure what the cut-off age is), which I know could get a little pricey. If anyone knows of good ways to get a discount, let us know. I guess I should have done my homework before posting this, but I figure you gals know more than I do. I would prefer to go on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. We may want to avoid a Friday if possible. Let me know who is interested and what works best for your schedule. Thanks!

VEGGIES WANTED!

I've heard from numerous people that they have an over abundance of things from their gardens this summer and lots is going to waste, so... I wasn't able to have a garden this past summer due to being in TX but my husband and I live off veggies so if anyone has nothing else to do with their veggies or whatever else you have, we eat it all! I'm willing to do something for them, but I'm lacking on ideas of what, so if you have any ideas let me know! I can pick them up or if you are in the area we live at 1818 S. 900 W. Glad to hear that it was a good growing season! :)

relief society broadcast.

so there are some of you going up to SLC to be there.
others watching it at the stake center.

but for those of you who aren't able to quite make it to either we are having a re-broadcast 'party' on Saturday at 8:00 pm. they rebroadcast the conference on KBYU. so if you aren't able to make it to the initial viewing, come to Mauri's house...with a treat to share of course :-) (although you can come even if you don't have one I'm sure there will be plenty) and we can all watch it together.

or...if you really liked it the first time, and just want to watch it again you can come over too.

let me know if you are interested!

Diapers.

Wesley has very quickly grown out of his size 4 diapers and I have an unopened costco brand diapers and opened huggies (from costco...i don't have the box but there are all 4 bags of the diapers still closed). I was hoping that someone who has a baby in size 4 or soon to be in 4 would be able to get a box (or 2) from Costco of size 5 for me and then we could trade.

i guess maybe the unopened box I could return. ok...typing out loud here.

so mybe just a trade for the open (but complete) box

thanks

Piano Lessons?

We just received a piano, and I'm on the hunt for anyone willing to possibly teach piano lessons for my 6 year old daughter for trade?
I am open to many options which could include any of the following: babysitting, homemade bread, homemade jam, bathroom cleaning, laundry folding, haircuts, grocery shopping, or just a good old eyebrow wax, etc.
If you have any interest, please give me a call!
Thanks!

Collecting Beanie Babies for charity!!!

Hi Gals!
I am helping my mom collect Beanie Babies for her Christmas humanitarian trip to Arizona. She takes hygiene kits to all the school and Head Start kids and attaches a small stuffed animal to each one. (It doesn't have to be a Beanie Babies brand, just about the same size.) She is about two thousand short this year- yikes! If you have any you are willing to part with you can call me or just leave them on my porch if you know where I live. They will be cleaned so you don't need to worry about washing them before you bring them.

Here is a link if you want to check out past years when they have gone. Go here.

I need them by the end of the month at the latest. Ask your family and friends if they are interested as well. Here is the best part- all donations are tax deductible for the RETAIL value of what you originally paid. My mom's foundation has a government tax ID # and she can walk you through the paperwork if you want to claim it on your taxes. You don't have to, but you can if you are donating a lot.

Thank you!!!

looking for a volleyball or badminton net.

The achievement day girls are going to be playing water balloon volleyball this week for their activity and we are needing a net. The more I think about it, I think a badminton net would be best...so they can get the water balloons over easily.
But we will take a volleyball net too.

So does anyone have either that we could borrow for Thursday?

please...
and thank you.

Play Date

Hey ladies,

Mckay and I could use a little more social interaction on the days that I'm home so I was wondering if any of you would be interested in getting together for a play date this coming Friday. I was thinking of either going swimming or getting together at Wines Park and we could pack lunches. I'm throwing out options since I'm not sure what is easiest and most cost effective for people (the joys of being so analytical). :) I'm open to other ideas. Please e-mail are respond to this post ASAP so we can plan. Thanks!

Looking for Fake or Real Fur

I'm heading off for a family vacation where one of the activities is to do something for a talent show. Mine is cowboy poetry that talks about using roadkill for clothing. So I'm looking for something of a furry clothing persuasion (hat, purse, scarf, etc. ) for a prop that I could borrow. Jake and I are leaving early Friday morning and then coming back August 1. Thanks!

Yard Sale & 5K

I'm thinking about doing a neighborhood yard sale on August 1st. Anyone wanna join in? Amber Dunford and Katie Brown are doing it with me. We were planning on doing it in the cul-de-sac on 1875 S. (in front of Amber's house). That way we'd people could just come to one place. BUT if lots more people want to do it we could do a big neighborhood one. I just wanted to put it out there to see if anyone was interested.

I am running a 5K with a few gals from the ward and I heard a few more were interested. We'd love to have anyone come who wants to! It's in Alpine on Saturday the 8th at 7 AM. It's $5 if you preregister and $7 the day of so it's pretty cheap. I am going to preregister early next week so I need a count of who wants to do it. Katie Brown and I have been running nights at 8, we'd love anyone to come with us!

Call or email me if anyone is interested in any of this!

Anyone cut hair?

Do any of you ladies in the ward cut hair or know of someone who does? I need a haircut and am looking for someone nearby, if possible to cut my hair. Please email me at michele@shoqwave.com.

Thank you!

Swap anyone?

I bought a bookshelf about three years ago for my girls room that we are not using anymore. I need a bookshelf for Matthew's room that I can paint so if anyone has a solid wood standard looking bookshelf they want to swap for the dollhouse one I have e-mail me at craftynaty@gmail.com. Ours looks like the one below but it has a white roof, not pink.

I also have two 33 gallon storage Tupperware bins that I am not using and would love to swap them for the Tupperware bins that you slide under a bed. The bins I have are bins that are 35W X 21D X 14H. They are HUGE so they would be great for the garage or a big closet.

We need help tomorrow morning!!

Hi ladies,

One of the Chappel Valley wards has asked us to help provide the children's class for their enrichment TOMORROW from 9-12. They are also going to be helping us with ours for our quarterly enrichment activity we have coming up on Tuesday. We still need more help--we are breaking it into two shifts: 9:00 to 10:30 and 10:30 to 12:00. If you are available, PLEASE let me or Marissa Seitzinger know. I would have posted earlier, but thought we would have more luck through e-mails and phone calls. When we originally asked them about a week ago, we weren't expecting that they would need us before our activity, but felt it was appropriate to return the favor since they are helping us out.

The reason we asked them is because our enrichment activity on Tuesday is going to be on surviving the ups and downs of marriage and family life. Husbands are invited and we wanted them to have the opportunity to go instead of doing the children's class like we usually do. Please let me know!

Thanks!!

Megan J.

Lawn Mower For Sale

We were given an extra lawn mower from Jake's parents. Since we don't need two (and we don't even need one yet with our dirt yard) I'm offering it here and on KSL. It's a Craftsman 5.5 HP mower. Jake thought it was about 10 years old. It just had an oil change. We turned it on and it works fine. It comes with the bag and a mulching attachment. We're asking $25. Call me (Cara) if interested 801.341.5106.

It sold. Thanks!

Breast Cancer Fundraiser.

Just a reminder...
I have a Yard Sale planned for this coming Saturday, June 6th.
I would still LOVE anything you have that you would be able to donate for that. I am raising money for breast cancer research...and really, every little bit helps.
I am also taking donations for boutique type items. I'm even willing to reimburse for the cost of materials if you need me to.

so do your spring cleaning today and through out the week and bring me what ever you can donate...even up to Saturday.
if you don't have anything to donate (or even if you do) come by on Saturday, June 6th and do some shopping. it's for a great cause!

let me know if you have and ?s... thank you everyone for your support.

Youth Soccer

There is a really neat soccer program called Northern Utah County Soccer (NCUS). It is for all ages, girls and boys. How it works is you pay $60 for Fall 2008 and Spring 2009: this covers registration, a regulation soccer ball, and a full uniform (shirt, shorts, sox) in team colors. You are actually playing two seasons and paying all at once. Anyway, the deadline to sign up is on Saturday, and you have to go to the Cedar Hills office between 10am-and 1pm.

We were wanting to sign Tanner up for the soccer but totally spaced and now we are going to be gone on Saturday. If there is anyone one else interested in this, please let me know and we could work something out where I can have you turn in our registration for us (and you'll even get some cookies out of it). Also, there is a spot on the registration where you can request to be one someones team! So if we have kids the same age we could work it out so we could carpool for practices and such. Anyway, if you are interested take a look at the site and let me know. Thanks!

if that's not enough to get you to come you can bring crafts or other projects you want to work on...
games to play...
your best stories to tell...
and everyone's invited to spread to word to friends, family, people you stand in line with at the grocery store...
but let me know if you're thinking about coming so we can get a bit of a head count.

Tulip Festival

The weather is supposed to be fantastic on Monday (cross you fingers). I am going to be taking myself and my children to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I was thinking that it would fun to have lots of friends to tag along! I have a pass (and I know some others do too) so anyone who comes would get in half price. I was thinking of either going in the morning around 10am and bringing lunch to eat on the grounds, or going in the afternoon like at 3:30pm. Let me know if you would like to come meet me there and which time would work best. You can leave a comment or e-mail me brittles82@msn.com.

Achievement Day Girls Activity!

This Thursday, April 9th
for all the girls... 8 - 11
we will be at Mauri Brewer's House
from 4 - 5

Garage Sale.

yea for spring...and garage sales! I'm going to try and put together another one this year. Some of you know, but I did one last year and the money that I made went towards the Susan G. Koman 3-day Walk for a Cure that I participated in last year. Well, I'm walking again this year and fundraising again. And my fundraising goal is over $2000 so I am trying to do all the fundraising that I can...So I am going to do a garage sale around the middle of May, to try and make as much money as possible. We'll do it like last year and if you have any donations to the sale I will take them, but this is also a multi-family garage sale option...that if you have lots of things and you want to just join in on the sale you are welcome too, and keep the money you make.
Now here's the twist. We're also thinking of making it, along with a yard sale...a boutique and baked goods sale...so if you are willing to donate homemade items of any sort we would love those too.
Please contact me with questions or if you think you might be able to donate to the yard sale or with a craft/baked good.
If you don't have anything to donate, that's ok too...just start saving up your change and come and shop :)
THANK YOU.

Easter Egg Hunt options....

* the polls are now closed, and a decision has been made based on the votes...and the weather.
the easter egg hunt will be tuesday, the 7th at the Loch Lomond Park at 12 pm. bring a picnic too.
bring 10 eggs per child participating to Mauri's house by 11am on Tuesday. Then the eggs will already be placed when you come to the park at 12.
(also if you want to bring a fun easter activity for the kids ... just a thought)
...and Brittney your parents are invited :) *

ok, Tuesday isn't working out for some so here's the question - for those of you wanting to participate. The weather for Thursday isn't supposed to be stormy but it will only be 53 ° and the other days are all stormy. SO we can do it Thursday, just make sure the kids are bundled or I am willing to have it here at my house on another day, we just might be a little cozy. Or keep it on Tuesday.
What are everyones thoughts?? Days, times, locations??

Easter Egg Hunt...

We have done this before and it turned out really fun...sorry I'm thinking of this so late.
I want to see if we can get a group together to do an Easter Egg Hunt, but looking at the weather, Tuesday might be the best day for it.
So here's the deal...
Idealy it's best to get the eggs together early so if everyone who wants to participate can bring their eggs to my house by Tuesday morning.... bring 10 eggs per child of thiers that is going to participate. So each child will be able to leave with 10 eggs.
We will all meet at the Loch Lomand park on Tuesday, April 7th at 12. I will have gotten there earlier and hidden the eggs. And the kids can all find them...and then get a chance to play.
We can also plan to make it a picnic for those of you who want to bring lunch too. The egg hunt might not take up too much time.
Let me know if this would be something anyone would like to do...comment or e-mail me at nmbrewer@hotmail.com.
I know I'm pulling this together late...but hopefully we can pull it off. It should be fun.

TAX TEA PARTY

Hello everyone! I wanted to wait until I had a large enough contact list, but a good problem I have been having is it grows so fast there is no perfect time to start. I am so excited about this tea party on April 15, 2009 at the Federal Building (125 S. State St.) from noon to 2pm. We have covered all of the media bases and are expecting a good turnout. I am also pleased to announce that Glenn Beck's producer has said he will show our tea party on his show. Another interesting note is that his producer told me that she is going to have me on The Glenn Beck Program on Fox News at the end of the week. I will let everyone know the details as I receive them. I have instructed those who have asked about signs to make their own and choose what they feel most passionate about. As an obvious sidenote, stay away from anything vulgar. We want this to be a good experience for everyone to get their passions out with our feelings toward the government and its actions. We will also be making a few different videos of the event which we will either sell some or put some on Youtube. We have our speaker list as well, so here it is:

Welcome and Conducting: Myself
Activist and Author Candace Salima
Attorney General Mark Shurtleff
Congressman Jason Chaffetz (3rd District)
Congressman Rob Bishop (1st District)

Please feel free to email me and/or call me. They are the best ways to get ahold of me, unless you write on my wall on Facebook directly, so feel free to add me as a friend. If you email me I can also forward you the flyers I have for you to pass out to your friends and family. And also, if you email me I will add you to my contact list for the tea party.
Thanks for everything!
Adam

PS-Forward this to all you friends to get the word out!

Need a Cradle?

I have a cradle I am wanting to lend out to anyone who might need it. It is one of those older wooden rocking cradles. It is clean and in good condition. I used it with Nadia and it was great! I have crib bedding that goes with it: A mattress (which I just bought new), a fitted sheet and a bumper pad. It is in purple gingham. If there is anyone that would like to come take it and use it, let me know! Eventually I want it back, but not until we are ready for the next one...which may be a long time from now. So, if it gets passed around for the next few years, I am fine with that!

Email me at Brittles82@msn.com or leave a comment and let me know if you would like to use it!

Photography Club

Hi Ladies!
I talked with Jennifer Davis a few weeks ago about starting a photography club and wanted to see if anyone was interested in starting one with me. I was thinking we could meet on a monthly basis. Each month we would have a simple assignment such as black and white, depth of field, motion, etc. You would learn about the topic and then have a month to take a picture and print it to bring the next month to critique. I was thinking of keeping it easy and simple, just a fun way to learn from each other. You would not have to have an SLR but you would need to have some sort of photo editing software and be willing to print and bring your photo assignment each month. You can shoot digital or film. E-mail me if you are interested. I am not apposed to spouses doing it together either. (Location and day of the week have not yet been decided.) E-mail me if you are interested.

Fogelquist Family

For those of you who remember Claire and Doug they just posted the following on there family blog. Please keep them in your prayers...

"So please keep our little family in your prayers...Monte had a huge uncontrollable seizure Monday morning, was taken by ambulance "red hot" (with lights and sirens) on a 40 ride to the better hospital, then life-flighted via Helicopter to St. Louis Childrens Hospital. Meanwhile, I drove like a demon to meet him up there, a 4 1/2 hour drive from the hospital.
On Tuesday the Neurosurgeons decided to do a surgery to place a "bolt" in his skull to test the CSF Pressure...then immediately rushed him into surgery when it registered 25. Normal is apparently 0-5. Since then he's still struggling. He hasn't been able to keep down any liquids since we've been here, and he retches all night and day. He's sleeping much too much...and no one can figure out why. The new shunt (Revision #28) is in a great place, draining well, and looks great on C.T.
Our Neurologist said today, "Sometimes when we don't understand something we wait awhile until it just goes away"
That seems to be the current plan, as soon as he wakes and starts eating and feeling better, we should be able to head home.
Thanks to our friends who helped arrange the driving and babysitting of Piper...she's hanging out with her dad this week, who is currently unemployed. Talk about great timing, right!?! So they're entertaining each other.
So, gotta get back to Neuro-Floor, humbly asking for your prayers for Monte..."
Claire

Spring Cleaning...

Thought I would post a few things we are getting rid of before I freecycle them...

Brown leather rocker/recliner. Looks like a lazy-boy, is real leather, and has a small tear on the back of the seat. (A blanket folder over the back would hide it.)

Children's easel from Ikea. Needs a fresh coat of paint.

Brown wood blanket chest. Modern looking. We bought this a few years ago from Down East. Great condition, we just don't have room for it.

I don't have time to take pictures bit if you want to come by and see them just e-mail me a time.

Need to Borrow a Lab Top!?!?

Hey Girls!

Megan Johnson here. So I have the wonderful privilege of presenting at one of the classes for Stake Women's Conference this Saturday (I hope you can sense the enthusiasm! :) I was planning on doing a powerpoint presentation since I'm a big believer in visual aids. Apparently the stake has a projector I can use, but I need to come up with the lab top. This isn't normally something I would ask to borrow, but given the circumstances, is there anyone who would be willing to let me borrow a lab top for Saturday so I can present my info this way?? Feel free to give me a call or send me an e-mail: megjohnson_6@hotmail.com THANKS!

In Need of a Dresser

With another baby on the way, I find I am running out of room in the kid's dressers, so I am looking for another one. I don't want to pay any more than about $50. It needs to be a 5 drawer or more, and tall, not a long one. I don't care what it looks like as long as the drawers all work. If anyone has one they are going to be getting rid of, please e-mail me at karl_shari@hotmail.com or comment on here. Thanks!

FREE TV & Book Shelf

***Both items are gone, thank you.***

Hi Ladies,

I have a couple items I'm going to donate, but I thought I'd see if someone wants them first. I have a 5-shelf bookcase that I bought at Target about two years ago for $70. It's maple color and is in great shape, except that the backing is coming off in a couple spots. You might be able to staple it back on. I also have a 25-inch Sharp television. It's 7 or 8 years old and it works fine. Sometimes we have to mess with the inputs in order to watch a DVD though. I'll keep both items until Saturday. After that they're outta here! And, since they're free I'm too lazy to take pictures of them. Sorry! You're welcome to come take a look though.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks,
