High Flyers Preschool ~ Now OPEN!!

Hi Everyone :)

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Loni Leetham or "Mrs. Loni". My family has lived in this area for almost 7 years now. I have been teaching preschool in Mapleton, UT (south of Provo) for almost 4 years and am now able to teach from my own home!

I grew up in Sandy, UT where I lived in the same house until I moved out to attend UVU (UVSC at the time). My mom, Jackie Colton, owner/operator of The Raspberry Sawhorse Preschool, has taught preschool since before I was born. I grew up with little children all around me, with their amazing capacity for learning, forgiveness, love, joy, and above all, curiousity. This amazing opportunity has offered me a clear picture into the full and successful functionality of a preschool.

I am excited to offer my knowledge, creativity, and experience to assist in the emotional and academic growth of your child.  My preschool offers an interactive, creative, thought-provoking, and yes, sometimes silly, learning environment. I would love to meet with you and show you my cute new preschool and tell you all about my plans for inspiring growth in your child. Here is my information:

Job for Stay-at-Home Moms

*** Thanks for the response ladies! We have all the help we need.***
My company is looking to hire a few artists to help us keep up with demand. You can see more of what we do at www.CustomFamilyTreeArt.com. Right now it's just me and my partner (Noelle Newbold from the old ward), and we went crazy last December trying to finish all our orders. We are looking to start training now so that everyone will be ready when the rush starts in the fall. We might need help before then, too. Mother's Day was pretty crazy this month. Parenting.com and CBS local just did stories on us. Anyway, we create the trees on the computer, but you don't need to have a bunch of computer skills. Having an artistic eye, and being detail oriented are more important. We can teach you the rest. Pay depends on your speed since it is on a per job basis, not hourly. It's the perfect job for a stay-at-home mom. I work whenever I have a few minutes, with the kids right next to me, or after they all go to bed. It's very flexible, and you never have to keep the kids quiet while you take a phone call. We do everything online. Email me at Karen@CustomFamilyTreeArt.com if you're interested in learning more.

Lehi Round Up Float

Hey Ladies,
I'm in charge of the Lehi Round-Up float for our ward this year! {yikes!}

I've never been to the mini float parade...does anyone have pictures from past year floats (from any ward) I just need some idea of the typical float seen at these parades! Or if no pictures maybe some descriptions of things you've seen? Do they typically keep it pretty simple or do you see a few awesome ones, too?

Any info/help you can send my way would be appreciated!
This year's theme is "75 years of Kids, Cowboys and fun"

I know this is a long shot but does anyone have a Hi8 camcorder I could borrow for a day?  I have a stray tape at my house I want to see what is on it before I pay to have it transferred to DVD.  Thanks!  Arianne

Does anyone want this free typewriter?

If you do let me know a.s.a.p.

Carpet Remnants - Squares

Jake works for a carpet company and recently brought home about a million carpet squares.  These measure 1 square yard each.  We carpet-squared our crawl space (saves my knees every time I go down there) and are looking to sell the rest.  Here is the link to the KSL ad:  http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=20225683&cat=&lpid=&search=carpet%20squares
Let me know if you're interested in them!

Summer Park Group

Summer is coming and along with that comes beautiful sunny days.

Let’s try to spend one of those days each week letting our children enjoy different parks in the area while their mothers enjoy some time conversing with other moms.
Invite all of your neighbors and friends to join us.
Each of these parks has grassy areas besides a playground. We would love to see as many as can make it, whether you have children to come play or just want to come.

You can bring balls, bikes, picnics, etc. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
