Need a Car?

Not to top Mauri's free bed, but we are looking to see if anyone in the ward is in need of a car. We no longer need it, and wanted to see if there is someone who could use it.

It is a 93 Maroon Subaru Legacy. It has 150,000 miles on it. It recently passed inspection in August, and had some work done on the starter. The clear coat on the front is peeling off and may need some belts replaced. It is not pretty to look at, but it runs! The heater and AC also work great! Just a radio and tape player, no cd player. Also, it is a little quirky...in the summer time the drivers side door sticks, so you have to roll the window down to open it (I know you are all laughing but it is so true). It is free, other then we would ask for you to pay for the title exchange.

I want this to go to someone who really needs it. We will keep it a week, and if no one needs it we will sell it on KSL. email me brittles82@msn.com

does anyone need a twin size bed

this was the only picture I could find, I'm sure I have others...but anyways - it's a twin size bed which you'd probably want to use for a girl - there is a heart cut out on the head board part with you can't see because it's behind the green "curtain". Also what you can't see is that there are boards that go across the top of the 4 posts. Which came in handy to hang the curtain that Katelyn used to hide from us when she needed time by herself :)

There is also a trundle that goes along but that part isn't very sturdy so I wouldn't pass it on unless you really wanted it. The bed itself is quite sturdy, we just wanted to get beds that were a little smaller to fit both girls in one room. It really is cute!

I wanted to see if there was anyone who needed or wanted it before taking it to DI (or selling it on Craig's list....)

**UPDATE** the bed had been given to a new owner. but there is still a car available ...see the above post °Ü°

A little extra cash, anyone??

Do any of you know of anyone who is looking for a little extra cash and would like to watch two kids (no, not mine:) during the week? There's an eight year old boy and a three year old girl and it would probably be from 2:30 or 3:30 until 6 or 7 p.m. Let me know via comment, e-mail or phone a.s.a.p. Thanks!

Girls Night TONIGHT

I haven't spoken with Brittney yet, but from what I know of there are 7 people coming, Brittney, Myself, Cami, Amanda, (My Best Friend Chris), Jamie, Possibly Jenn from what Cami tells me, and possibly Ailene if the weather is good. Please let us know if you are planning on coming so I can phone ahead to the restaurant. Girls Night THIS Friday!

OK, the masses have spoken! We will go out to dinner and then back to my (Sarah Kimmel's) house. Please leave a comment or call either me (my cell is the best way to get a hold of me, if you don't have it (it's a 714 area code) then call Brittney or email me for it) or Brittney to let us know you will be attending so we can get a good count. Still deciding on the time, but we are thinking of meeting at my house at 6:30 or 7 and then carpooling to dinner. Let us know in your comment what time works best for you. Shower for Jen Ross!

Hi ladies! I apologize that I don't use the blog more (I'm still a techno nerd and am working on joining the blog crowd!). I found an excuse to put it to good use and thought I would get on here and see if anyone is interested in helping me throw a baby shower for Jen Ross. Most of you know that she is pregant with twin girls (yay!), but you probably don't know that she had a close call a little over a week ago. She was having some pretty intense contractions and had to go to the hospital. She is home now but is on VERY strict bed rest. If she has one more close call I think they are going to have to try and get the babies here. I can't imagine trying to get everything for twins so I would really like to throw her some type of shower or at least gather some gifts for her. I was planning on visiting her tomorrow to see what the options are (like if we could even go to her house for a shower). Brad said she could use some visitors. Anyway, if anyone else has any ideas and/or wants to help, I would really appreciate it. I think we had better act quick, they're just hoping she can make it two more weeks. Also, I will put a plug and say that I'm sure she could use help cleaning or just someone to talk to so please be mindful of her and I'm sure she would appreciate a call or visit. Please call me ASAP if you're intersted in helping with some kind of shower. You are all wonderful!! Thanks so much for all you do!
