Just a reminder that tomorrow

Thursday April 30, is the last day to turn in any recipes that you want featured in the ward cookbook.

Also, we are starting to get a count for those who want to purchase them (this will also assist to know the final cost of the books...not to be more then $10) So please be sure to sign one of the sign-up sheets at church or again let myself or Jana know.

Anaheim Peppers

I have three extra Anaheim pepper plants if someone wants them. We use them in place of the jalapeno sometimes when we make salsa. It is pretty spicy but has a good flavor. If anyone wants them for their garden let me know!

It's ON!!!

The first pool party of the year! With Wednesday temperatures predicted to be 80° it has been officially decided that we have got to do a pool party!!
So here's the drill for those who haven't been before...
Who ever has any...brings the little pools for the kids and and water toys you want.
Also we'll do it at noon, so bring a lunch. We eat, talk and sit in the sun while the kids play in the water...and we do it until the kids get too cranky and we have to split :)

Ladies Night Out...

I'm wanting to get a Ladies Night Out planned for Saturday...Nathan will be out with our girls and with just Wesley and I we thought we'd plan a get together.
I was thinking to get together around 6:30 or so....
now here are options...
a pot luck type of dinner or just dessert...
and I thought we could make it a craft night, but it could be craft/game/chat/movie - the possibilies are endless...
but just a get out of the house and be with the ladies night.
Let me know if you can come and what you want to do as far a food, and activity.

6:30 the salad "potluck" everyone bring a little salad to share.

if you want to come but can't come until later...

8:00 is the dessert "potluck"

and so we'll have food!

if that's not enough to get you to come you can bring crafts or other projects you want to work on...

games to play...

your best stories to tell...

and everyone's invited to spread to word to friends, family, people you stand in line with at the grocery store...

but let me know if you're thinking about coming so we can get a bit of a head count.

Tulip Festival: UPDATE

Well, it looks like we will be going at 3:30pm on Monday. Lets meet in the entryway of the gardens at 3:30, and if anyone is running late and wants to meet us inside the gardens you can call me and let me know. If you plan on coming, leave a comment or send me an e-mail so I know to wait for you! I am excited for the nice weather finally!

Tulip Festival

The weather is supposed to be fantastic on Monday (cross you fingers). I am going to be taking myself and my children to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I was thinking that it would fun to have lots of friends to tag along! I have a pass (and I know some others do too) so anyone who comes would get in half price. I was thinking of either going in the morning around 10am and bringing lunch to eat on the grounds, or going in the afternoon like at 3:30pm.
