I went to a cake decorating class last night. So now I have a single-layer decorated cake that I do not want to eat. It's a white cake with buttercream icing. Do you want it? It's not pretty. And I'm not saying that so you'll leave a comment telling me you're sure it is. It really isn't. We were just trying out new techniques (like using a spray gun to 'paint' the cake). If you're interested, call me 801.341.5106. Otherwise I'm throwing it out.
Also, I'm taking Amery's preschool co-op class to do a tour of the conference center tomorrow. I thought it would be a good idea with conference this weekend. Maybe-just maybe-this will increase her interest in watching conference. We're leaving my house at 9:30 if you want to meet up and caravan there. The tour takes 30-45 minutes and includes going on the roof to see the gardens up there. You can show up here or call to let me know you want to come.

Stake Relief Society Broadcast and Activity Invitation
Greetings, to our dear wonderful Sisters in our Stake,
As we approach this General Relief Society Broadcast coming up this weekend we feel to share this brief video with you. We are sending it as an invitation and preparation for the General Broadcast as well as for the Stake Relief Society Activity preceding it.
We have a great sensitivity to your time on this upcoming Saturday. We are instructed that if we are to have an activity/meeting that it be one that will be meaningful for you. We, as your Stake Relief Society Presidency, have felt directed by the spirit to prepare this Saturday's Morning Relief Society activity for you. We do not know all of the reasons why. That is something that the Lord knows and the spirit will reveal to you personally. All we know is that there is something we are supposed to do and learn that day together. We hope that you will come in a spirit of faith to the Morning Relief Society Stake Activity and let it prepare you in spirit for the Evening General Relief Society Broadcast. We have felt His hand directing the choice of activity, the involvement of you wonderful sisters, and the content of this upcoming activity and look forward to a meaningful day together. Please express our appreciation and gratitude to your wonderful husbands, families, friends for enabling you to come. Come prepared to be fed and to feed.
We know you will be blessed as we join together as sisters on this special day to hear the word of the Lord.
We love you. We look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely,
Lehi South Stake Relief Society Presidency

Entertainment Center
Hey everyone, i've never posted on a blog before so hopefully i'm doing this right! We need to make room so we're getting rid of our entertainment center. It's in great condition, comes apart into two peices for moving, and i'd really like to get rid of it haha. If you want it or know anyone who wants it let me know (Patrice - 801-592-1357) I'd like to get some money for it so we're asking $75 but i'm willing to negotiate.

Do you have extra PVC PIPE
Hi, I am looking for some help getting some supplies for a real fun project for our bears. I thought maybe some members would have this laying around in their yard or garage. What I need is one half inch pvc pipe which is used in sprinkler systems. It would be great if it was in 4 foot or longer lengths and it would be a bonus if they had an elbow or two for it laying around. If you could spread the word I would appreciate it. If anyone has it I would like it as soon as possible and they could just leave it at my house. I also have iris tubers I have taken out of my yard if anyone wants to stop by and get some.
Thanks,
Sharon Awtrey

Raspberries
So this is random, but I've been trying to keep an eye out for good prices on raspberries because I want to do some jam. Usually I've found them by now. My brain is a little scattered getting ready for the baby and all so I'm calling on you guys to let me know if you see any good deals or have places you would recommend going to get them. Again, random, but that's why I love this blog! :)

I realize I'm not in the North Lake 2nd Ward anymore... But you gals always have good info and insight so... my husband and I are looking for someone involved with Interior Design because we are wanting to do some things with our house, so I was just curious if anyone would know of someone that they would recommend with an Interior Design background? Thanks!
