Disney Give a Day Program

Hi all!

I am helping my parents charitable organization with the Disney Give a Day program. They are now registered to have people earn one ticket to Disneyland in California or Disneyworld in Florida. You can earn a ticket through them by donating three fleece blankets or 20 beanie babies stuffed animals. Here 's what you need to do if you want to participate:

Go here and under "search for activity "search under zip code 84043.

The Circle of Love foundation has two sign-ups, one for blankets, one for stuffed animals. They should be listed as the third or fourth activity on the list.

Click on the green text "Show Details".

Read the requirements and decide if you want to participate.

If you are interested fill out the form of interest if you have any questions. If you plan to participate and don't have any questions you DO NOT need to fill out the form. Instead click on the green "click here" directly below to just go ahead and sign up. (Please do not sign up unless you intend to participate.)

Fill out the form for you and your family. You must fill out everyone's name that you want to earn a ticket for. The form is intended for children six and up.

Next select a date for volunteering. Pick the date you think you will have the blankets done and delivered to me by. Pay attention to the date you put on the form for volunteering because Disney will wait until that to process your tickets and it takes two weeks so don't select a time frame that is close to when you want to go.

When you submit your date Disney then "reserves" your tickets so if you select a date for completion that's later in the year you don't need to worry about them running out of tickets. Once you are registered your tickets are held until completion. Hope that makes sense.

Anywho, let me know if you have any questions. PLEASE share with friends and family. Disney is giving out a million tickets and half have already been claimed so I would love to help my parents get some donations before the tickets run out.

Last thing, you can learn more about their organization here. When you are ready to turn in your donations you can drop them off at locations in Cottonwood Heights, Lehi, and St. George Utah. E-mail me for an address. They can also be mailed if you live out of state. Fleece blankets shouldn't cost too much to mail.

Thanks!

Do you have to specify when you want to go to DisneyLand when you sign up? Or do you just have to complete the service by a certain date, and then once you have your tickets, you can go whenever (by the end of the year, right?)
