I am looking for empty 2 liter bottles WITH the lid for an activity to do with the Young Women next week.

Temple is Closed

Talent Display

At our ward variety show on June 4^th we are giving you and your families the opportunity to display your non-performing talents.  Some examples of this are: woodwork, artwork, photography, sewing projects, and crafts.  We will be sending sign up sheets around on Sunday or you can email me what you're planning on displaying so we have an idea of how much room to set aside for the talent display.  If you need something other than a table to display your talent on then be sure to bring it that night.  Please bring your talent to the stake center between 5:00 and 5:45 that evening.

Is cooking a yummy dessert your talent?

To showcase other talents (those of the food preparation kind) there will also be the opportunity for those who want to prepare a dessert item for the ward variety show.

We will be passing around sign up sheets at church for those interested, so be on the look out for those.

If you want to make a dessert item for the ward to sample and do not see the sign up sheet feel free to contact Mauri Brewer at 801-368-6721 and let us know that you are interested.

Ward Variety Show

The ward is having a variety show on the 4th of June at 6 p.m. at the stake center.

The Primary is going to have a little girl dance routine for one of their acts. If you have a daughter age 4-7 and would like her to participate in this dance practices are at Ashley Lisonbee's Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 (beginning this Tuesday). Ashley scheduled them for both days in case some of the girls can't make it on one of those days.

Your daughter doesn't need to have any dance experience to participate. If you have any questions contact Ashley.

Looking for Tents

A few of us in the ward got into the Lehi Round-Up Boutique on June 22,23 & 25 and we are looking for tents for our booths

Looking for this type of tent: about 10ft x 10ft

Please let me know if you or a family member would let us borrow it on those dates!

Feeding Missionaries

We need a family to feed the local missionaries on Sunday the 15th. It would be at 5 PM, and at 6 PM they will go do splits with the Elders in the ward. If you'd be willing to do this, call Katie at 801.592.4311.

In need of babysitting

Frank is leaving for his annual Army training this week and I'm looking for some help with babysitting so I can go to work and get my hours in. I would like someone to pick up Toby from the bus stop (my house) around 12:20 and watch him until I get back around 3:30. It's easier that way because D will still be in school. It would just be Wed., Thurs. and maybe Fri. of next week. I'd rather do trade babysitting, but I'm also willing to pay. Even if someone is willing to just do one day, it's better than nothing. Free Utah Symphony Ticket

I have a single ticket for the Utah Symphony this Friday night. There are always open seats so if you can convince your husband to go along, it would be easy to pick up one more ticket. This concert is an Organ Symphony and I read that the Tabernacle Choir's organist was the guest soloist. It should be amazing. I've gone to concerts in the past and really enjoyed them. I just can't go tomorrow night. Are you interested?
I also am looking to hire a babysitter for Lindy and Amery tomorrow from 12:30 to 3:30. This is a hard time in case your kids take naps, which is why I'm paying. Please let me know.
