After searching all over for the healthiest food for Dylan and Preslee I was lucky to find this product www.happybabyfood.com I am in love with this line of products!!! I contacted their headquarters and long story short they asked if I wanted to spread the word to other moms. I couldn't pass up the offer, so..... I am going to be holding regular play groups where you can come and bring your kids and learn about these products. I am NOT trying to sell you anything! I will just do classes for you and your kids. Things like read stories on healthy eating, make fun crafts and do cooking demonstrations using their products. How Do I Pay for Christmas and Feed My Family?

I don't think I'm the only one asking this question right now. Well, I asked and it got answered. I would love to share it with anyone who wants to know.

First of all, this is not a vitamin, cream or weight loss program. It's a grocery delivery company that is wanting to go national and needs to build it's customer base. Since everyone needs groceries I looked into it. The business model is valid and the compensation plan makes sense.

It's easy to work it as a business because everyone buys groceries. Part of the compensation is in Walmart Gift Cards. You can use them to do all your Christmas shopping and buy your groceries, or even give Walmart Gift Cards as gifts. The larger part of the compensation is a paycheck that you can use to pay the credit card bill next month. (I know I flinch when I think about how big my bill will be next month!)

So come on over to my house Sat. Nov 20th from 5:15pm - 6pm to see if it's something that clicks with you. There will be LOTS of FOOD! (This is about getting free groceries after all!) So come on over and check it out, then take home some dinner for your family!

Play Group Update

I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still trying to put together the play group I posted about a few weeks ago. I have had a lot of people express interest so I've been trying to see if we can use the church on Wendesday mornings. I thought it might be a little crazy with a lot of kids in one house and the church would be nice so the kids can run around in the gym (which might make for longer nap times if they can burn off some energy). :) I'm still working on the details and I will let you know as soon as I get more info.

Primary

We got everything worked out with Scouting so everything will resume this week!!!

Just a reminder the Primary Program Practice is this Saturday, November 20th from10-12pm. We will be practicing the program and eating pizza. Please arrange to pick your children up at 12:00 promptly because the Loch Lomand Ward is holding their practice right after ours.

Play Group Anyone?

Now that I am home with a very active 2-year-old, a newborn, and the weather is getting cold, I am realizing that in order to keep my sanity (and for Mckay to keep his as well), it would be nice to do a play group regularly so we can get out and socialize. Please post a comment if you are interested. I was thinking we could do Wednesdays at 10:30, but I am open to just about anything. Please note if there is a day and time that works best for you on your comment so we can try to do what works best for most people. I will do another post including all of the details after I hear back from everyone. Thanks!

November RS Activities

We wanted to make you all aware of the upcoming Relief Society Activities for this month:

Thursday, November 4th -The cannery has been closed for renovations and it has taken longer then expected. They are still not open, and will not be open for two more weeks, so the cannery activity planned for Thursday is being changed. Instead of 5 PM, it will be at 7 PM at Brittney Miskin's house, 593 W. Lakeview Dr. for a canning class with lots of canning tips.

Sunday, November 7th - Stake Conference - 10 AM @ Northlake building (on the corner of 500 West and 700 South.

*New Building Dedication - 5 PM, New church building

*Marriage Fireside with popular LDS speaker Matt Townsend - 6 PM, Stake Center, Nursery provided. Please bring a dessert to share for dessert potluck.

Sunday November 14th - Ward Conference in our NEW building (Center Street and about 300 South) at the NEW time, 1 PM (we will stay at 1 PM until Jan 2012).

Thursday, November 18th- Decorating on a Dime, 7pm, Church. Come and get fun ideas of how to decorate inexpensively.
